About Dr Narendra Armogan
Dr. Narendra Armogan has dual functions as a doctor at OCC LASIK and a qualified investigator at the Canadian Centre for Advanced Eye Therapeutics, Inc., in Mississauga, Ontario. Dr. Narendra Armogan's ophthalmological experience includes treating such conditions as age-related macular degeneration and retinal detachment. In addition to considerable experience with Lasik procedures, he is also well-trained in vitreoretinal surgery.
Dr. Armogan began his medical education at the University of Western Ontario. He went on to the University of Toronto, where he served as a resident and attained several scholarships; he gained extensive surgical experience at four local hospitals and spent a two-week rotation in Thailand during his third year.
He has received several awards, including the Scientific Award of Excellence by the American Retina Foundation, which he won for his pioneering work in the use of stem cell transplants for retinal diseases. Dr. Narendra Armogan’s research background includes some 20 projects and 75 presentations for pharmaceutical firms and other organizations.
